This quilt features indigo fabric hand-dyed by me in 2016, and a lovely Kona cotton in a deep navy. It is bound with the hand-dyed indigo fabric and backed in a light gray flannel. Measuring approximately 38" x 38", the Indigo Hourglass Quilt would make a lovely wall-hanging or special baby quilt. 

Please note: this quilt is backed in a light fabric and does show quilting stitches, which are done in navy, quite starkly. It will also come to you unwashed so it can lay flat as a hanging. If you'd like it to be pre-washed for use as a baby or lap quilt, just let me know.

Local Color quilts are machine pieced, quilted, and bound for durability. The back of each quilt will include a small logo tag which also reads "Handmade by Whitney Arlene Crispell in Buffalo NY" on the backside. All fabric and batting is 100%, high quality cotton unless otherwise noted. This quilt will not be pre-washed before shipping. Machine washing and drying are recommended and with laundering, quilts will become softer and more textured.
